- Mulder and Scully have not been separated the past 6 years. The first shippy scene has them spooning in bed. Throughout the entire first part of the movie, their conversations are light and comfortable, including the one that takes place in Mulder's office when he still has a beard.
- They talk about William.
- During the movie they break up over a disagreement concerning their future and in true Mulder and Scully style, they create some pretty impressive angst.
- The second to last scene of the movie is the one that got leaked by Flynet -with Mulder and Scully kissing. It starts out as a goodbye scene, but they literally 'kiss and make up'. Chris Carter (though my money's on Frank) does indeed like happy endings.
- The real 'happy ending' doesn't occur until almost after the credits (so be sure to remain seated!), but it's too bizarre to even describe it, so you will just have to wait and see.
- The plot is a little incomprehensible and not really interesting. It's not scary either, but YMMV. I got the impression that at that times it was so hard to figure out what was going on that it took away from all the scariness.
- All in all, the movie is very shipper heavy and plot light.

Et maintenant LA scène :

From what I gathered from the description, up until this point it's not clear whether Mulder and Scully are actually together. There have been several scenes prior to this that features both Mulder and Scully, but other than Scully knowing her way into the house and their interactions seeming light and comfortable, nothing has been made obvious.
So, the scene starts out with a close up shot of Scully lying in bed, on her side, awake. She appears to be alone until suddenly a voice calls out saying "I can hear you thinking.". Mulder's face enters the frame and he spoons her. He had been in bed with her all along (shirtless!). It looks like he puts his arm around her waist under the blanket. He then asks her what she's thinking. She opens up about the boy, Christian (who everybody has given up on, but Scully is sure she can save him) and Mulder proceeds by asking why she hadn't told him about the boy sooner. Scully doesn't answer so Mulder does it for her. He drops the W-bomb. There is apparantly a nice poignant quote from Mulder that starts out with 'our son', but really, I couldn't care less about William, so whatever. I apologize to those who do. Maybe I will like it when I see it.
There is more exchange between the two of them and the mood lightens. Mulder then says something along the lines of "I've got a little something for you." After which Scully says "A little something? Or a big something?" (Yes, my initial reaction was WTF as well, but I've been assured it works. They are in a much more comfortable place with each other and it shows.) Mulder kisses Scully. He's still spooning her from behind, so it's not a face on face kiss, it's more from the side. In a cute way Scully demands him to stop because of his scratchy beard (I was already miffed the spooning involved The Beard, but after this beards are right up there with bees. Hate.) so he proceeds to kiss her neck and her shoulders. There is a long pause and Scully brings up Christian again. Her thoughts tie into the case/plot, so I won't go into detail. But at one point Mulder gets out of the bed, saying "Now I can't sleep." and walks into the bathroom where he shaves off his beard. He's thought of a connection between the boy and the case and is ready to face tha Ef Bee Eye.
